Hey guys! You do not understand how late this Warby Parker post is, I was actually planning to do the finishing touches yesterday, and then guess what?
All the power went off… one of the problems with living in Africa!
But not to worry, I’m here, right now.
I was inspired by Warby Parker and the collaboration, that I wanted to make a quick video and post going over the glasses.
I’ve watched Tyler Oakley for over 2 years now, and have followed his collaboration with Warby Parker as it happened. Although I’ve never received the privilege of using Warby Parker glasses, I loved the way they looked on Tyler Oakley. As well as how they were giving people cheap, great quality glasses.
That’s why I was delighted when I was offered to promote the collaboration.
Before we get started, I would like to introduce you to Tyler Oakley’s collaboration and relationship with Warby Parker. If you don’t know who Tyler Oakley is, I think it would be a great idea to check out his Youtube channel. His stuff is really good.
It all started back in May 2013 when Tyler tweeted us: “@WarbyParker Hi. I want to start wearing your glasses. Can our love-affair start immediately, please?” Well, three and half years later, Warby Parker and Tyler Oakley have officially taken their relationship to the next level: a collaboration! This limited-edition collection includes Tyler Oakley’s favorite Warby Parker frames with a special twist that compliments his signature style. (A little background: Tyler loves black frames—but he also can’t help injecting personality into everything he does.) The result? A collection of best-selling styles updated in a graphic palette of black hues mixed with pops of contrast tones.
You can see this collaboration was so long coming! I’m really glad it is here now.
Now can we start off by pointing out how cute these shots are: I love the contrast is the color, and the use of patterns.
I’m not going to talk about the glasses collectively, however, I thought I’d go over the specs of the collection.
So, without further ado, let’s look into the glasses.

And all these glasses start at $95!
If you guys don’t know, I very recently got glasses. And can I just say, that Warby Parker’s prices are incredibly cheap! Nevermind the fact that the shape of the glasses is amazing.
I think this collection is very… glassy, and I’m looking forward to seeing more.
Oh, and I almost forgot the mention. I have a Youtube video, less formal than this post, where I discuss the collaboration. You can check it out down here:
See you next time
